NASA picture of the day today is a real 🏴beauty! This is a composite image of the ~5000yo Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis. The amazing Giuseppe Petricca has only gone and photographed the Sun at noon there, every few days, for a whole year. #Dedication 🔭🧪👌

I love it when people watch Star Trek for the first time and are like, "I didn't really believe that Kirk and Spock were actually like this. I thought people were projecting. But no. This is just what the show is."
It's just what the show is. Kirk/Spock is as natural as breathing.

It is now officially ONE YEAR since we started working on our #orv game in earnest!!! 🎉🎉🎂🎂 To mark the occasion we thought we would share with you a bird's eye overview of our planning board. Chaotic but crucial for our workflow!

“this person is bad so their work was always bad” is also a really dangerous view to take because it leads to - unconscious or not - a bias towards “but I do like this other person’s work, ergo they must be a good person”
which, as we have seen over and over, is simply not true
which, as we have seen over and over, is simply not true
What happens a lot on social media is when someone (Warren Ellis, Neil Gaiman now Ed Brubaker) has allegations thrown at them people tend to leap out the woodwork saying "their work was never good."
That helps no one as it's irrelevant. What matters is their actions and what they did.

In one of our archive strong rooms there is a shelf. The shelf does not contain the most exciting or interesting item in the archive but it does contain something amazing.
