That’s a wrap for Meso’s journey at #Riptide2026! We loved seeing the sights, mingling with other pods, and screaming their hearts out cheering for the competitors.

Day 2 of Riptide came and went, and Mesopelagic spent it socializing and enjoying the venue!

They got to meet up with their grandcoach, grab dinner, and end the night with some swimming!!

Nam and Random also got to participate in “Pop the Balloon” to find their perfect teammate 👀

Alas, without any currency, the dream of a simple candle lit dinner in Oh I dunno, probly anhour or so from now was impossible. "WAIT. have an idea "whispered the ever clever Oile. "An idea? At this hour? From you??" Olive mumbled incredulously. "Sure. Just wait and see." "By the time you get back, ill be skin and BONES." Oile called the police and had the inkfish at the register arrested. It was all Clearly illegal endangered species. No amount of "WAITS "or "WHAT'S tHE MEANING OFTHIS"s could convince these sea pigs of shit. "See? That's how it’s done" Oile beamed as he wiped his hands Clean. However, with no vendor, the fish could not be sold. Ah, yes. Inquisitive render! You know now part 2 has only just begun. Hiding their glee, the two partners in crime delighted in pilfering the pescados productos and had planned this from the peginning. People were unaware as the stand laid bare, letting these fish bandits loose to do whatever they wished with their prize. Yeah they cooked and ate those Mfrs for breakfast, lunch, secondlunch, dinner, and dessert for a year or two. Wait. That's it? AHA. Yet again l underestimated you, dear reader. They couldn't have gotten all this home by themselves. You would Be absolutely correct. 100% (a small golden star sticker is inserted here) There was an accomplice... TRAIN SPLATOON. A black and white page in a campus notebook with a pencil illustration of a Thomas the Tank Engine clone but with Train Splatoon’s face having a gleeful expression. Olive and Oile ride in the conductor car small and faraway. The cargo is an open top car carrying a stacked high pile of fish with seagulls following overhead behind. After a long season, Mesopelagic goes out with a playoffs 2–5 set against Teapot! GGs to them and everyone else we've faced. For the next few weeks, the pod will be returning to their lairs to rest and recuperate, but don't worry! We'll be lurking in the pelagic zone again soon #compsplatoon
