Always wondered why holding isn't just loss of down at the spot of the hold. Makes more sense than replaying the down. Just count it as the tackle the hold ostensibly prevented.

Last year Barham got a targeting for a form sack because the QB was that much shorter than him. This was even more unfortunate. Just think there are situations like this where human officials don't lay a massive punishment when the defender did nothing wrong.
