In case you missed it: Wellcome will move to 'always-open' rolling deadlines for career-based Discovery Research schemes.

Applications will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the year; this change will hopefully encourage applicants to submit only when they are ready.
Starting after current major July 2026 deadlines, Wellcome will move to 'always-open' rolling deadlines for career-based Discovery Research schemes – ie Early-Career Awards, Career Development Awards and Discovery Awards.

Applicants will be able to apply at any time.
