I made a little felted Jimothy, Beloved Cryptid as a friend for my Mothman.

His legs have pipe cleaners inside of them so you can bend them in different directions. #jimothy #needlefelting

Work in progress of my next #D&D character, Kog.

A warforged who was built to help in surgeries, but his INT is too low and they sent him away to be a bartender instead. #minipainting #miniature
A work in progress miniature painting of a four armed robot. He is wearing jeans and a pair of old sneakers. He has a broken sword on his back. 819 years ago, the medieval Islamic engineer Ismail al-Jazari designed the Elephant Clock. The dual dragons that appear on the wall in The House of Hikmah are directly based on the dragons from al-Jazari’s manuscript: The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices.

Happy #portfolioday, everyone!

I'm Micaela; a queer illustrator and art director for video games! I adore bringing old myths and legends to life, and I have a really loud cat.

I love connecting with other indie devs and artists!
A black woman kneels between two stone pillars. She has a glowing white cross shape embedded in her chest and white tattoos of palm leaves and pomegranates. She is wearing a skirt that turns into water beneath her where there are stars and the moon reflected in the water. Behind her are palm leaves and a large, round sun. The woman's eyes are also glowing white. A split illustrative image of Guts and Griffith from Berserk. The image is red, black, and white, and splits the two faces down the middle. Guts is on the left, and Griffith is on the right. A screenshot from the Tales of Kenzera: Zau, of Patakatifu (Sanctuary), the main hub of the game. There are three statues based on the mask designs found in the game. There is a large baobab tree in the background with magic surrounding it. There is a mandala in the middle of the image with water flooding it, the tears leading from each mask. An overview image of a courtyard in The House of Hikmah video game. Set in the Islamic Golden Age, the image is bright and sunny. There is a large olive tree in the middle of the image as the focal point. There is an 8-pointed star water feature around the tree.

The House of Hikmah is out on Steam, so I wanted to share some of the beautiful artwork the team did, starting with the Atrium.

Serving as the 'Hub' of the game, the Atrium is where Maya returns when she is going to visit a new Scholar's Realm.

✨ In their Clutches ✨
Here's my (slightly censored) illustration for the new project by @novamali.bsky.social on KS 🔥

There are 4 days left to order your copy of this rizo zine and some uncensored goodies!
#Art #Illustration
A risograph illustration using only black and red ink on a cream paper background of an octopus woman embracing a human woman. They are both very sticky, and the octopus woman is biting her companion's boob. It looks like a great time, but it has a cloth covering the fun parts.

Combat or Companion quest?! The choice is yours, Adventurer!

AKA: Gave away several hundred quests at the Ren Faire this weekend.
A selfie of a woman (hello, it’s me) wearing elf ears and a medieval inspired outfit with metallic bronze jewelry. Two humans wearing medieval inspired clothing and a headband with a ! Icon above their heads. They also have several bags and baskets with gifts for those who finish quests. A photo of Three humans all dressed in medieval adjacent clothing with colourful explanation marks above their heads. They are standing on a gravel path, offering quests to people who walk past.
