Just to be clear, this isn't much different from what he wrote in Dobbs. To which Justices Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan aptly responded: "This is to ignore as judges what we know as men and women. The interests women have in Roe and Casey are perfectly, viscerally concrete." [2]

It should mean supporting small businesses, investing in our workforce, and creating good-paying jobs that allow Ohioans to build a life right here at home.

Funny how their “originalism” dissipates when there’s a Republican/billionaire imperative at stake.

I don’t think “originally” corporations were people, or presidents had immunity, or agencies couldn’t make “major” rules, or Congress couldn’t set terms of office.

What a joke.

Quiz question. Why are people staying in their jobs longer?
A) They fear they can't find another job in a tough economy.
or
B) They know Republicans keep making Obamacare more expensive, so they feel chained to their current job for the health insurance.
or
C) They think their boss is just super.
Trump Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling: "We're seeing people staying in their jobs longer now ... we're seeing people very happy where they are in their jobs because employers are doing better."

What's fun about this whole contretemps and why it's worth watching again is how smirky Schmitt starts out - this is going to be his big moment – and how honest a puzzled Smith comes off, and how sharp Klobuchar was to quickly figure out the basic mistake. And then how pissy Schmitt gets at her.
🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡

Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong.

Here's the whole sequence:
