Nat Turner (October 2, 1800 – November 11, 1831) is celebrated on the second day of Hoodoo Heritage Month because his fight for freedom and justice let to the Civil War. A solar eclipse was visible in his region of Virginia, and he considered it to be a sign from God to start a rebellion. #WitchSky

The autumn equinox is here. Tonight the sun moves from Virgo into Libra. Libra season is a time for harmony, relationship, and justice related work. It's also a perfect time for petitions, potions, releasing, and banishing. Use rose quartz, moonstone, sunstone, and opal. #hoodoo #witchsky #magic ✨

I was thinking about calling my son's father for the past few days because my son hasn't been talking to him much. The last time we talked it was about money, so this time I genuinely wanted to call and ask him if he was okay. He was in the hospital getting treated for an infection when he answered.

I enjoy making pumpkin pie spice coffee this time of year, but there are other things you can do with coffee that brings joy. Add herbs for love and happiness, burn coffee for protection, or sprinkle it on petitions to open roads and attract abundance. #hoodoo #magic #witchsky #spells #spiritual

Smokey quartz is more than spiritual protection. It also keeps you grounded and balanced. Keep it in your car to protect you while traveling, or wear it as jewelry to keep outside and internal negative vibes away.

Wealth Tea:
To increase money brew basil, lemon grass, and alfalfa. Sweeten with honey, and pray Psalm 68:19 over it while stirring clockwise before you drink. #DailyWitchTip

Jet is a powerful gemstone that's used for protection, grounding, healing, and abundance. It helps heal illnesses and protects children from bullying. Wear it as jewelry or place it in your home to guard against evil spirits and spiritual attacks. ✨

@eldoleo.bsky.social A relationship or significant emotional event has entered your life, but there's great uncertainty surrounding it. You're not sure if it's what you want. Wrestling with it has made you exhausted and unmotivated. It's best to move on, and leave this trouble behind.

@rolandofgilead19.bsky.social You've been experiencing an emotional rollercoaster. Something or someone has been making you moody, but a resolution or reconciliation is coming. Stay strong. Better days are ahead.

A very interesting thesis about the Kongo Cosmogram and its relationship with African American literature. I didn't realize our sense of community is so deeply rooted in our ancient spiritual practices.

It's fine to go outside or sit at your window to watch eclipses, but be careful until they've passed. Don't make any eclipse water or do anything spiritual except cleansing and praying. #hoodoo #witchsky #magic #astrology #spellwork #folkmagic #eclipse2026

All of these celebrity deaths and talk of the Grim Reaper are on point with what I've learned about solar and lunar eclipses. The sun and moon are our major light sources, and when they go dark (either full or partial) it's a sign of danger and disaster. Don't do anything major until they've passed.

This eclipse is a transformative reset that clears old spiritual energy so new energy and work can start again. Make sure you're ready for new blessings and new beginnings. Let go of the past and start fresh. ✨

The partial eclipse in Pisces is coming, and people want to know what to do when it gets here. The answer is nothing. Don't make moon water, don't do heavy spiritual work, and definitely don't light any candles. Just spiritually cleanse yourself and your home. #hoodoo #witchtwt

♐️ Tonight's waxing moon in Sagittarius activates the need for independence, learning, and adventure. It's a great time to break free under Sagittarius' independent energy. Burn obstacles in the flame of a white candle or fire pit tonight. ✨
