It is kinda interesting to me how the USA/Iran/Yemen conflict is beginning to resemble the plot of Dune. Dune was written as a sociopolitical commentary on colonialism, yet we are witnessing unfolding events in a very similar fashion. Which side did you cheer for when watching Dune? Hmmm.

Dolly Parton was a champion of equality and human rights, and while I'm not a country music fan, I've always enjoyed her music. She will be missed.

In my "previous life" I owned maybe 4-5 pairs of shoes and that was enough for all occasions. Now I have at least 20 pairs and growing. In the past, I never understood women who had closets full of shoes. Now I totally get it. I am running out of room and I require a proper shoe closet dammit!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again -- by starting the Iran war, Trump might just end up being the biggest primary global driving force toward alternative energy. Is he playing 4D chess? No, the guy can barely tie his shoes. But the irony is so strong with this development.
