In the last year, No More Robots has funded + is currently funding a dozen games, and has paid numerous devs to make prototypes happen for free

I know it’s easy to focus on the doom and gloom, but I promise you, there are a ton of us who are still making cool video games happen

Next Fest was already a bit of a pointless exercise for 90% of devs. Now the AI slop has made it entirely pointless for 99% of devs
I don’t really know what Valve can do about this, but I think it’s fair to say that we pay them well enough, that it would be nice if they’d bloody do *something*
