Nearly a year ago we rescued Tatertot aka Taters. Her elderly owner had passed and family brought their 15 year old cat to the shelter. Taters is now 16 years old, deaf, has very few teeth but this girl purrs so loudly that at times I need to shut my office door.

Why just why has our country gotten so stupid???
Many of the babies’ autopsy reports were clear: Vitamin K deficiency was the immediate cause of death, or contributed to it.
The reports also included details about parents refusing the vitamin K shot, a long-standard injection, for their newborns.

What I Can’t Forget About the Babies Who Died After Not Receiving a Vitamin K Shot
Babies have died after not receiving the vitamin K shot at birth. Their autopsy records underscore how preventable their deaths could have been.

I feel this one. I hate what our government is doing to its citizens. I'd say that we deserve better, but do we?🤔

Fun memory. July 1988 & Rapid River was having a forest fire. My high school boyfriend and I drove to Stonington Peninsula. The drive placed us near remains of fire. A lone tree had a small fire. He pulled over to douse it with his can of mountain dew.

3 of these 4 Home Alone 2 actors/actresses have passed away in 2026. I hate that we lost the three that we have.
But damn, if we can complete the set before January 1st, that would be something. We have four months to make it happen.
