Oldest nephew leaves school today 💙 and while the family WhatsApp is full of good wishes for the future, his immediate thought is that he gets to watch the whole of the World Cup now without having to get up early for school the next morning 😂 glad he’s got his priorities sorted 💙⚽️

Won’t lie, I’m not ready for everyone to go back to work/school next week. The roads have been so quiet that my drive to work has been brilliant & has taken half the time it normally does. I’m not mentally prepared to sit in traffic again 😩

Any chance @wirralcouncil.bsky.social might actually get round to sorting this out and get some tarmac on the roads?? I’m up to two small chips on my windscreen now from gravel being flicked up on my windscreen!! 😠
Are there any roads on the Wirral that haven’t got temporary traffic lights on them for roadworks, or haven’t been dug up for road resurfacing work (that hasn’t actually been done yet, so just leaving a load of gravel for you to fire at other cars) 🤷🏻♀️
