(set up for a comedy bit) so i have this prescription for 7 compression stockings i can't afford because it's 100 dollar per pair, and so i'm having to use kind of crappy ones from walmart and amazon that don't fit right, and the ones i got from the hospital are kind of falling apart already

i think its very fascinating to be someone with an 'invisible' disability because its only invisible until youre lucky enough to catch me sitting on the ground elevating my legs for half an hour and unable to lift my arms

numbers based decision making is sometimes the bane of like, every creative industry, you are banking on hypothetical profit without even giving the medium chance to thrive. you have such huge power as x platform to uplift and promote these stories

1) 20 episodes per greenlight.
2) Greenlight a new season based on gut belief in it, not based on waiting until numbers come in.

what's true for so many of my peers is that it would help us MORE if more people shared, wrote comments and reviews, recommended our books (self-promo is very frowned upon), asked for us at conventions or other events -- time is money too, spoons are limited, but we can all aim to do more of this.
Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)
