Woke up at 5 AM from nightmares of a hairless cat chasing me. It had Alyson Brie’s full-sized head but no hair, in keeping with the hairless cat. She smiled all creepy and tried to cat call me (pun intended).

Hey guys, if you're gonna share that one meme I made like a million years ago on Tumblr, share the original, not the horrible auto-smoothed traced version. Don't smooth out my angry, "it's 11 at night and I have FEELINGS ABOUT ART" hand wobbles, they're part of the piece!

💯 - the parallels are clear. As with fascist Russia’s BS pretexts for attacking and occupying eastern Ukraine + Crimea, the US + Kremlin are trying to create/leverage faux Alberta separatism to undermine and subjugate Canada.

Canada + Ukraine are allies in the same fight against global fascism.
🇨🇦🇺🇦
Building on the post above, here now is confirmation that fascist Russia and the Trump regime are actively trying to weaken 🇨🇦 by exploiting the situation in Alberta.
“Researchers described Russia's engagement with Alberta separatism as covert; it appears "doctrinal, operational and sustained".”
US and Russia fuelling separatist debate in Canada, new report says
Researchers warn that foreign actors are meddling in the Alberta separatist movement in ways that threaten Canada’s "democratic integrity".

Re-read the first four books in Kazu Kibuishi's Amulet series on the weekend, after finally getting my hands on the last 5 after all these years. Such a great adventure.

The whole thing started as a way for college degenerates to rate the hotness of classmates, so them getting older and worse feels on-brand.
I must once again remind you that, since 2016, I have been unable to run Facebook ads for LGBTQ+ books which explicitly state that the books are LGBTQ+ because the ad manager constantly rejected them as unsuitable.

Didn't like an indie game I picked up. It was 8 dollars. I am not going to refund it and I'm not going to leave a negative review. They worked hard to make the thing and I bought it and don't regret giving it a shot. Maybe the next thing they make will be more to my tastes. :)

Hot take (?), but I think any social media platform, like Bluesky, Mastodon, etc, should revoke API access for any scheduling and posting apps with gen-AI features.
If platforms want quality content instead of bots then they should enforce content made by real people instead of bots.
