I'm late saying so, because last night was all about family and today was all about bookkeeping, but once again, #GameholeCon showed why it's the best darn TTRPG convention in the country: big enough to attract the brightest stars, small enough to feel like a community and not a corporate event.

This article is really cool— I absolutely love the creativity used to recreate the TMA character sheet and Statement in Spanish (and as a big Canva fan myself: respect)
Last Saturday, I ran a Magnus Archives oneshot at my local TTRPG community event. After that, I wrote this blog post: I Run Games In Spanish, And I Wish There Were More Game Translations Into Spanish. 😋

Tip: AI graphics just make you look amateurish when making Youtube thumbnails, TTRPG & novel covers, etc!
There are no effective "place holders" in media/creativity. Wait until you can do better or afford help. AI slop makes you more forgettable, easy to ignore!

so my school district has decided they have a dungeons and dragons club and are willing to put me in charge of it. i have a long list of stuff to do, but the biggest problem, i know from 3 years attempting to run chess club, is getting them to show up. ideas so far:

Between Earth & Sky uses a Story Counter to count down to in-game Prophecy events! The PCs must complete aspects of their quest in accordance with celestial maps and guidance—that might mean speeding up or having to wait. It lets you actually play Prophecies in a TTRPG like in a novel!
