This is a rare case of Disney creating an acceptable live-action remake. This picture alone makes bringing back The Magic of Disney Animation worth it. I hope they also make it a place to have rare meet & greet characters come out because that would be the perfect spot for those moments.

I just got out of Cocoon: One Summer of Girlhood and it was such an emotional and heartbreaking experience. It’s a beautifully animated film with strong Ghibli vibes and devastating war imagery. It’s not an easy watch, but I was moved greatly. I recommend it highly.

These kinds of videos are exactly why it feels like the fandom’s definition of “indie animation” is limited to just viral internet cartoons. It’s hard to take any of these discussions seriously if they can’t even name one indie animated project that doesn’t come from YouTube.
