It's a long one so I split it into 2 episodes.
Part 2 is out in 5 minutes. No need to wait till next week!

For fun I put a IBM 5150 on the Internet as a web server. With lightweight text pages, it did the job just fine, serving pages directly from a 360k floppy disk. Separate proxy made them available over dual IPv4&6 stack and via SSL. What shall I get it to do next? 😍

Been a while since this went into early access and I cant remember too much about the repair now. So why don't you watch it and tell me all about it :D I might even watch it myself!
Wondering how a pink workbench would go down with the viewing public now. Big Clive would be proud for sure.

Time for another C64 repair. I'm chipping away at the pile, which I show in this video!
Also, don't worry. That's my regular curiosity face. I'm not constipated.

Good fun at the @computinghistory.org.uk meet up today. I took some of last year’s RetroFest exhibits to show - Sinclair QL with Schön keyboard and my CST Thor - along with something I’ve never seen at any retro event, the Mancomp replacement keyboard for the ZX Spectrum. Should do a feature on it.

@computinghistory.org.uk is a fantastic venue who lay on some brilliant interesting things for us to explore. Many of us also bring our own things to share. But the best thing is chatting with all the lovely people that turn up.

I've barely used the growing number of CPC464 machines that appeared over the years in my workshop because loading software is restricted to tapes only.
If only someone had open sourced a clever device that solved this problem...
Oh look! They have!

I got to see a few vintage computers I'd never seen before, chat with interesting exhibitors, and ask some attendees (you might recognise) what they thought of the UK's largest retro computer festival. #retrofest
