I’ve spent half of my life in the Midwest and both welcomed and cursed the snow. It took me observing a guest from Cuba watching her first snowfall with absolute wonder to remind me just how magical Mother Nature’s crafting of each snowflake truly is.

Most folks don’t think about it however this one detail can make laundry easier or harder.
Prior to buying side by side washer and dryer:
1. Know where your power and water hook up are.
2. Order the doors so they both open AWAY from each other NOT toward each other.

I coated pinecones in peanut butter, rolled them in bird seed and hung them outside in a small lilac tree. The chickadees seemed to love them. Feeding birds in the winter brings joy on both sides of the window.

Look what I found at the grocery store today! Wouldn’t it be great if all produce would be pesticide free?
