Overlord

Year: 2018

A fun, gory and silly movie that I enjoyed way more than I thought I would, there are some dark scenes with some cool practical effects, worth the watch

mini collection today is The Cloverfield franchise, all VERY different movies, the 1st is great, the reveal of the monster is so good but I think 10 Cloverfield Lane is a stronger film IMO, its darker and more sinister. Paradox is ok, it had some good ideas but the execution wasn't there for me

Ghost Storeis

Year: 2017

Ghost Storeis is creepy, atmospheric and well acted anthology and often slept on with stand out performances from Martin Freeman and Alex Lawther, its slow burn and very interesting, worth a watch!

Year: 1988

I love this movie, the sets, design, direction, the effects, the soundtrack and the performances are so memorable, Michael Keaton is so much fun in this role! Rest in Peace Catherine O'Hara

The mini collection of the Day are the Godzilla/Kong Monarch-verse movies. I love watching the 70s/80s monster movies and though there're none of the originals in this collection I'll be adding them as soon as I can!

From Dusk Till Dawn

Review
Fantastic, funny and brutal with an unexpected twist part way through that completely alters its trajectory of the movie, if you haven't already, give it a go

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Year: 1984

Another movie I saw way too young but one I love with some of the most iconic and inventive k1lls in horror, for so little screen time, Robert Englund's performance was legendary.

Mini collection of the day is Stephen Kings IT, love this series, I saw the 90s version many years ago and the late, great Tim Curry really was creepy as Pennywise, Rest in Peace.

Late Night With the Devil

Year: 2024

Thoughts
I really enjoyed this movie, in no small part to the performance by David Dastmalchian who added so much depth to his role! The design, creepy aesthetics and its claustrophobic setting makes it a movie well worth checking out if you haven't already
