It was 101F / 38C today in Raleigh, probably a degree or two warmer here in Angier so I spent the afternoon indoors, rewiring and replacing the electric burner elements on our stove. We now have four working burners again.

Our neighbor has a pair of mules; they can be a little bit shy sometimes. Let's call this "Can't see me."
Was pretty happy with this one considering it was getting dark. He only stood there for a second looking for me, so I missed on the focus - nailed the post, but the mule is a little fuzzy.

When I was young and school ended in June, we'd jump in the car in Central NY and drive (and sail) to spend two weeks touring Nova Scotia and up North to Cape Breton Island.
