Proship literally is NOT short for 'problematic ship.' It's the prefix 'pro' as in 'for' and the word 'ship.' 'For shipping,' aka supporting all ships' right to exist in fiction without harassing real people over fictional content. I won't say there aren't bad eggs in the proship community-

Thinking about that time that Game Freak put an NPC that doesn't move on this bridge, because otherwise the player stepping on that tile would have triggered the cave entrance that is *underneath* the bridge at the same position

Something just released labelled as a "snapshot" of a Banjo-Kazooie prototype. However, that label is very literal: It is not a *game*, it is a ram dump of a specific game state. Still, there might be things of interest in it.

The RubyGems incident seems significant because... there's no apparent motivation to do it? It's not a hard task like ExploitGym, it's not a task that hints towards an evil solution like the Anthropic PyPI incident, so what led them to choose evil anyway? It is a mystery that needs solving.

They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US.
Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

I do wonder *why* this feedback loop happens. Like I assume the pause menu takes a screenshot of the game and renders it behind the menu, and DLSS is applying the AI filter to it... but then the output is getting screenshotted again? Why would that be the case?
