Children must be included in #Ebola treatment & prevention research, as they are disproportionately affected by the outbreak in the #DRC. Yet many barriers restrict their access to medical countermeasures.

Israeli airstrikes continue to hit #Gaza every day, killing and injuring people across the Strip. In the last 24 hours, our teams have treated 11 people, including five children, wounded by airstrikes.

On Sept. 13, an MSF bus carrying 10 humanitarian staff in #Gaza City was damaged by an Israeli airstrike on a targeted vehicle just two metres away.

One MSF staff member was injured in the strike.

#Ukraine: On Sept. 10, three Russian drones struck a busy shopping mall in Pavlohrad, killing and wounding civilians. According to local authorities, five people were killed.

Our teams are working with local medical staff to treat 67 people, including children and older people.

#Gaza: On the morning of Sept. 11, 11 people with injuries from explosions or shrapnel wounds arrived at MSF’s Al Attar healthcare centre in Khan Younis following an Israeli forces airstrike close to a displacement camp nearby.

On Aug. 31, our teams rescued 18 people in distress in the #MediterraneanSea

Twelve were unaccompanied minors.

Over 35,000 people have been recorded dead or missing in the Mediterranean.

The true number is likely much higher.

In #SouthSudan, people living along the rivers in Upper Nile and Jonglei states have to travel long distances — often by boat — to reach healthcare.

Our teams support primary healthcare centres and refer patients who need specialized treatment.
