Israeli 'double-tap' air strike responsible for killing schoolboy in Gaza
An Israeli “double-tap” air strike killed two people, including a 15-year-old boy, in Gaza City on Tuesday, despite the US-brokered “ceasefire” between Israel and Hamas in October last year. An Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, north of Gaza City. Israeli forces claimed they were targeting Hamas operatives. The initial attack on Tuesday injured Palestinian Civil Defence paramedic Sharif Shadi Labad, who lay struggling for his life on the ground amidst buildings that had been destroyed. Footage posted by Palestinian accounts and verified by Al Jazeera then showed a group of Palestinians running to rescue Labad when another drone flying overhead targeted the same place where Labad lay. The weapon is believed to have been a Mikholit, an Israeli-developed guided glide...

Israel, with the explicit backing of Kushner and the Trump "Board of Peace", has refused to abide by international law and bring into Gaza safe housing materials for civilians despite agreeing to a ceasefire, which it will not honor. Israel's seige on Gaza is criminal.

People are rightly enraged by Trump's intention to send 1-ton bombs to Israel at a cost of $2 billion to US taxpayers. Do note that from Oct 2023 to the end of last year, bipartisan Washington had sent to Israel more than *20* billion in lethal aid. This must end.

Don’t believe the lies. Trump is *not* selling $2.8 billion of bombs for Israel’s genocide.

It’s worse.

Trump is *giving away* $2.8 billion of bombs for Israel’s genocide. American taxpayers are paying for those bombs.

I don’t believe the U.S. taxpayer should continue to arm Netanyahu’s government with deadly military equipment.

I believe Netanyahu is a war criminal and that his government has committed genocide in Gaza.

This doesn't make me antisemitic. (I’m Jewish, by the way.)

Sen.Van Hollen intends to build support against this. “Trump is sending bombs paid for by US taxpayers to a government led by a wanted war criminal — all while the Netanyahu government continues to bomb Gaza and Lebanon, and block justice and accountability for Americans killed on its watch.”
