We received a new EXO2 multiparameter sonde with sensors for
temp., salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chl-a and FDOM.
It will be used for studies of marine particle dynamics and submarine springs - among other things.

Uusi tutkimus osoittaa, että Euroopan kesät voivat pidentyä vuosisadan loppuun mennessä jopa 40 päivällä. Syynä on arktisen alueen nopea lämpeneminen, joka heikentää lämpötilaeroa päiväntasaajan ja pohjoisnavan välillä ja tekee kesän säätiloista pysyvämpiä.
