I want this very badly. I'd like to independently continue tinkering with genomics stuff after I graduate, but I'm gonna lose access to the uni's computing core. I know that technically nailing together my own linux system with bought cores would be better from a software standpoint...

If your dog bites me and you can't produce rabies vaccination papers I AM going to the county health dept/animal control and having it put down so it can be tested for rabies. I will not suffer further injury from your hand by having to get and pay for rabies shots

May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism.

Something that really grinds my gears in general is when the science journalists contribute to this by oversimplifying, over-extending, or overhyping results of studies.

somebody needs to start funding more expeditions to tepuis to find extremely range-limited endemics. Untapped gold mine right there: natives did not live up there in times past, nobody lives up there right now --> likely that the people who have made it up there have missed something
