You were moved to do this by pride and by hate. Is it any wonder the result was ruin?

Wtf? The home office should not be shitposting like this. We're not a serious country.
“Face removal” sounds a bit over the top, if you ask me.

I bring worse news. That poor woman who lives in Piddington & who @vicderbyshire.bsky.social interviewed after that ridiculous election has had her address leaked to Tommy Robinson & the Pink Ladies & she’s been doxxed by both of them.
Wtaf is going on. These people all need to be proscribed now.

Absolutely wild history to read tbh. I highly recommend it.

The funniest part is that the first nation to settle the Falkland Islands were the French who decided it just wasn't worth sticking around and ceded their claims in 1766. A wise decision, I think, looking at the current situation.

Apparently our #PlaidCymru MP @anndaviesplaid.bsky.social joined the vigil/protest in #Carmarthen this morning, as names of dead Palestinian children were read out in the square.

It means the world to have a supportive MP; there seem to be precious few of them out there.

The White House Press Corps should've walked out as soon as the Trump regime banned the Associated Press for calling the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of Mexico."

That was Feb 15, 2025. The first month of Trump Term II.

Not surprising that abandoning principles for weak acquiescence led to more abuse.

I feel like this should be bigger news in the UK than two horrid aristos carrying on a decades-old grudge.
Germany is preparing hospitals for a possible Russian escalation with NATO, Bloomberg reports.

Berlin estimates up to 1,000 casualties a day could require medical care.

Well that’s a bit of a discovery! Load of unmounted plates in amongst some set type from a clearance lot. I did have to detach all of this from 30+ year old sticky tape. I can feel my archives friends wincing from here!

I mean how is the BBC not now actively subverting our democracy? It is a danger to the body politic.
Why does the BBC have as one of its lead news stories this morning another Britain-hating interview with Jim 'the UK has been colonised by immigrants' Ratcliffe? What public interest is this serving?

Good morning.
Disney doesn't know what to do with the Muppets. The BBC doesn't know what to do with Doctor Who.

I have a wonderful suggestion.

Capaldi. The earnestness of it grated on me when I tried in 2006, but I found it again later, when I was more open to wonder. Capaldi is my Doctor bc he's so tired and cynical, but determined to be kind anyway. It's aspirational, as an adult trying to be kind in a hard world.

I actually welcome this new BBC policy of allowing random irrelevant people significant time during news bulletins to share their thoughts.

Tomorrow, I'm sure it'll be Mrs Pearson of Tamworth expressing her opinions on different kinds of composite doors.
