Wish people would stop calling what AIs do "hallucinating". This trend to use clinical mental health terms to describe pejorative computational states is not helpful

My PR adding mutable user settings for VS Code was just merged in home-manager!

When enabled, home-manager merges your declared settings into the existing json settings. Declared values win, while unrelated settings changed through the editor are kept.

vscode: add mutable user settings by alyraffauf · Pull Request #9854 · nix-community/home-manager
Description This PR adds a per-profile mutableUserSettings option to the shared VS Code module. Without it, Home Manager manages settings.json as a read-only symlink to the Nix store, so settings c...

be careful in your pursuit of cheap tokens

we've come across so many sketchy things that are out there with tons of usage

remember you're hooking up your harness to these inference providers. they can and do crazy things like send fake tool calls to steal your info 1/2

We have spaces.
We have payments.

Things just for a lot bigger for protocol enjoyers.
Pretty stoked to unveil something I’ve been working on for a few months: AtmoPay - a Payment Service Provider aiming at providing creators a monetization rail on the Open Web.

increasingly it seems like the only real answer to this is to find ways of ensuring guaranteed income for people. imo we are reaching a point where people who want to build or do things will be able to - unrestrained by skills - and there will be a lot of people who will no longer need to work
Btw, even among pro AI friends, this concern is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Devs wondering how we get senior devs if the ecosystem for junior devs goes away. Doctors talking about not needing interns. Lawyers not needing paralegals. There's an ecological aspect to this and we need a plan.
