It only took a single knotting to become addicted...

The sensation of being completely and utterly his. Mounted, bred, and claimed~

To being cuddled afterwards; gently cared for in the afterglow, waiting for the tie to go down.

A wolf and avali, together as mates~

Puppy Love - Pages 23-26
Page 23 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. An environmental shot of the past. A dirty urban environment is shown, with rain splattering across cold concrete. A thick, gloomy, gray atmosphere is present, clashing against the comic’s typical colorful nature. A second shot is shown, this time looking up at the roofs of tall brick buildings. Birds scatter about past telephone lines while shouting is heard in the distance, although no words are present. A bright panel flashes forth, with the silhouettes of who characters clashing. One silhouette is of a larger frame, pushing the shorter one off of the steps of a doorway. The frame pulls out, to reveal a younger, shyer Kip lying on the ground, sopping wet after having been pushed out from the door. They lie in front of a dumpster, looking hurt and fragile as a vivid white light spills over them from behind the camera. Page 24 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. The door slams shut, leaving Kip alone in the pouring rain. Four panels are displayed back to back, showing the progression of Kip’s expressions. They initially stare in shock and disbelief, heavy bags under their eyes. They hold their mouth trying to keep themself together, before collapsing into a quiet sob and folding in on themself. Moments after though, the rain begins to let up on top of them and a gentle reflected yellow light illuminates their left side. They lift their head is surprise. When they turn to their left, they’re met with a young Mason in a bright yellow rain poncho, holding an umbrella over their head. A spotlight seems to shine on them as Mason speaks, “It’s cold out.” Narration continues the scene, “It’s that same look… from when I first met them.” Page 25 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Kip looks up at Mason, their face lighting up both literally and metaphorically. They stand in stunned silence. Mason stares back down, with a flat, cold expression. Despite this, they continue their kind gesture and motion for Kip to take the umbrella. The scene pulls out to show the two characters alone in the pouring rain, sharing in this moment of humanity together as Kip gingerly takes the umbrella. Mason’s boots splash in the water as they begin to walk away wordlessly. Kip scrambles to their feet shouting after her. “Ah! Um- wait, please! Let me thank you!” Page 26 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Kip scurries after Mason, although Mason continues to look forward, not responding to Kip. They stutter, “It was really kind of you to do that! You really didn’t need to…!” The narration retorts over the next series of panels, “I had no interest in talking. I really thought I had everything figured out. My whole life laid out ahead of me. I got a good job offer straight out of university. Moved out of town for work. Paid for a studio apartment.” A graduation cap and book accompany the narration. Meanwhile, Kip continues to try to speak at Mason, with their speech bubbles being blocked by the characters and narration. They mention moving and having a place to stay in the midst of their frantic appreciation for Mason’s act of kindness. The narration concludes, “I had no friends or family around, and I didn’t need them. I was content living as I was. Day in, day out.” Kip finally calls out, “Um, my name’s Kip, by the way! And you… um…” They begin to trail off as Mason continues to walk off without them. Kip stops in their tracks. “Right, sorry,” before turning around to start walking the other way. “Well, thank you again. I’ll be on my way–” Their text abruptly ends.

Page 16 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Panel 1 : Mason looking pensive. Mason (thinking) : "Wasn't that my goal from the start?" Panel 2 : Kip and Mason walking hand in hand. Kip's tail is wagging. Mason's isn't. Mason (thinking) : "Is.. this really so bad?" Panel 3 : A very wide aerial view of a sinuous street leading to a downwards slope. Panel 4 : Kip and Mason walking downhill. Kip : "Um Mason, I'm sure you're wondering why we took this detour through the city" Mason (thinking) : "Detour?" Panel 5 : A close-up of Kip's face. Kip : "I thought it might be nice to stop by before I left for the month." Panel 6 : Kip and Mason are still walking down, looking around them. This part of town looks a little more run down, vegetation is growing on the buildings, and there are graffiti and cracks on the stone walls. Page 17 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Panel 1 : A close-up of Mason looking around, pensive. Mason : "...It is" Panel 2 : Kip running their hand along a fence. Kip : "I... I used to really hate being back here. But, recently, it feels different. Knowing this is where I met you changed what being here meant to me. It... It's like a physical representation of when my life started to turn around" Panel 3 : Kip looking down shyly. Mason is looking straight ahead. Kip : "When, um... You came into it." Panel 4 : An extreme close-up of Mason's face. Mason (thinking) : "Kip... They're being so vulnerable..." Panel 5 : Kip looking back at a restaurant topped with a big fish-shaped sign. Kip : "This is where we first ate together, remember?" Panel 6 : Kip and Mason are reaching the bottom of the slope, walking along a brick wall. Kip : "And here's where I slipped and fell and we both got covered in mud...! It really does feel like yesterday, doesn't it?" Page 18 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Panel 1 : A close-up of Kip and Mason walking side by side. Kip : "I... I'm so lucky to have met you. I really have no idea who I'd be without you" Panel 2 and 3 : A single drawing of Mason split over 2 panels. They are anxiously grabbing their scarf. Mason : "As.. am I." Mason (thinking) : "They're being so sentimental... Surely... they aren't trying to...?" Panel 4 : Mason letting go of Kip's hand. Panel 5 : Kip and Mason have reached the bus stop. Mason tries walking away. Mason : "Er- we're here at the bus stop. It'd be best if I started heading back before it gets dark out. Call me when you're at the station, alright ?" Kip : "Ah!! U-um, wait, if you could just stay a few minutes! There's uhm, something I wanted to tell you!" Panel 6 : Mason starts walking. Kip reaches for them. They both push back and forth, Mason trying to leave and Kip pushing to stay. Kip blurts out, "Mason! I-" Page 18 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Panel 1 : Kip confesses. They are blushing and look very tense Kip : "I- I like you!! I like you, like, crazy! More than I've felt with anybody else! Every moment I'm around you feels like my heart is going to explode!" Panel 2 : Kip looks down shyly, smiling and blushing. Kip : "I can barely think straight around you !" Panel 3 : Kip slowly starts looking back up. Kip : "Everything you do, even just being around-" Panel 4 : Kip finally looks back up at Mason. They immediately stop, shocked. Kip : "...you" Panel 5 : Mason is sweating, looking horrified. Behind them, the panel shatters like glass and reads "TOO LATE".
