I was sad to hear of the passing of Peter Max. An artist far more popular than respected, in person he was bright and effusive, and I was glad to have spent some time with him.

Here I was so proud of using "libretti" in the lede of my blog post yesterday. Then Lee Bey @leebey1.bsky.social
comes right back today with "arboreta" in his first graf. I know a challenge when I see one: game on!
