CHARACTER BIO- Yva, an anthropomorphic hibiscus flower with red petals, yellow skin and a long nose. Yva is a professional courier, travelling far and wide by foot, mount or ship- all in the name of making a delivery. As a veteran member of the Couriers' guild, Yva is entrusted with their highest- risk deliveries. The many kingdoms of the occupied lands maintain a fragile peace, with lines of communication often dependent on a courier’s expertise and ability. Yva will avoid conflict where she can, but is prepared to defend herself with her wits and her razor- sharp firethorn whip. While her work takes her all across the occupied lands, Yva maintains a small home in the marshy Whispering Basin, near her best friends and favourite tavern. On the road, she's in search of whatever clues may lead her back to the Valley of Sorrows- the hidden homeland she was driven from as a child.

cortney and her friend ellen arbuttons are in a book store, looking at a book near a table with a standee next to it advertising a book called "I Love My Driver". the standee features a transforming robot looking car woman holding a mulleted jacket wearing guy on her arm. cortney, blusing and holding her face, says to the open book "oh, this is DEPRAVED" ellen, legs crossed, free hand balled into a fist, also blushing, says "told you" cortney rushes over to benny, who is looking at the geology section of the book store. she tosses the book at him and then catches it to show him an open page of I Love My Driver to tell him "we gotta try this when we get home!" benny, eyes wide, blushes upon seeing whatever page she is showing him. benny tells her "listen, you know i'm down to do anything with you... but you need to be an actual car for us to do that." cortney says "i can get the surgery"
