Big numbers are hard, so let’s break it down. $1.85b divided by 5m equals $370 …. So that’s $370 from EVERY PERSON in NZ in 6 months… and our power rate just went up 10% this month due to “increased costs”…
Meridian, Contact, Mercury and Genesis Energy are reporting record profits. Meanwhile, are your power bills any lower?
