Remember "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar?" Wong Foo was the head bartender of the China Bowl restaurant.
China Bowl closed in 1993 and was replaced by Virgil's BBQ Bar. Virgil is the name of one of the movie's antagonists.

This Pride Month, I want to point out how easy it is to rewrite main female characters to be gay or bi: Adora (the new She-Ra) & Catra, Harley & Ivy, Catwoman, Wonder Woman (makes sense, cuz Themyscira), and I think it has more to do with the straight male gaze and male fantasy than gay pride.

Still bitter that Amazon chose to greenlight Ice Cube's awful War of the Worlds (or it was so cheap to produce I guess) and Viola Davis' president rambo flick yet cancelled Wheel of Time. SIGH.
