As a retired IT guy, I totally agree.
1) Convenience shouldn't be at the expense of your privacy.
2) Don't forget that things can get done without a cellphone. Then and now.
Privacy should be your utmost concern.
And I might add: ESPECIALLY so in the US these days! 🙂

Used to work for Valnet. Worst videos i ever had to pump out, and the company culture got worse every month
Though you may not support the sites on account of how they’re all terrible now, important to know Screenrant, Collider, CBR, Polygon, and other companies all deteriorated because they were bought out by Valnet, a truly heinous company started by shitbags.
There are several, and it's on the Valnet and CBR wiki! My professional life is in shambles but I do enjoy that is easy to find what happened.
