On this day in 1944, an 11 year old Dutch Jewish boy arrived at Auschwitz with his mother and sister (13) where they were murdered after selection. His remaining sister (16) was murdered in the camp on the 28 Feb 1945. His name was Abraham Bohemen

Female incubates 14 days and the male feed her
both parents feed chicks 18 days
After they fledge both parents feed and protect them until they are 5 weeks old, they are then independent and are on their own.

26 August 1938 | A French Jewish girl, Paulette Kerner, was born in Paris.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 29 September 1942 in a transport of Jews deported from Drancy. She was murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
