i was able to ignore it from the longest time but it just hurts so much. i bought the doll because i wanted to use that picture, but i thought to myself "well, i can't just rip/steal it." it was a whole journey that i felt so proud of when i finally held her in my hands and repainted it in high res.
Why is there a person on Twitter claiming pseudo-ownership of the photo of Barbus I took using the actual doll and remade/painted myself. 🥲🥹

This was not a dig at Aethos or the new plushie. It’s not like u won’t be welcome in my community if you bought it or some shit, it’s your money to spend how you want and same goes for the kids making bank off their plush. I’m just sick of getting propped up by folks who wanna act morally superior—
I feel compelled to admit that discovering the new Aethos plush (which has essentially smashed its goal already) on Ownaj while scrolling under the failed SMLWiki plush campaign made me spiral, sorry if I seemed erratic to anyone yesterday

When I’m just trying to vent about feeling overwhelmed or hopeless there’s always a random fnf guy around the corner waiting to go “heyy FRIEND-O, hey I’m so sorry life’s been rough, I’m not gonna offer you anything but I just want everyone else to know what an empathetic demeanor I have. ;)”
Folks will see someone they’ve never met or spoken to living through a never ending humiliation ritual and still stop to say “I’m sorry you don’t like me”. Lol. Lmao even. Brother if you really really think you’re the problem, why don’t you go do a good deed about it
