As long as the sun stays out, I can run the crockpot on high for 37 hours. When I first turned it on, it was 7 hours. Either is more than I need for black beans, and I plan to turn the heat down at some point. Experimenting.

The fridge died. Only four years old, dead compressor is under warranty. Contacted LG, who handed our repair to another company. Other company said they would contact us in 48 hours. Didn't, and doesn't answer calls. #LG
