"On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was." In honor of the day, I bring you a Jane Austen × Mean Girls (2004) mashup. It is not Wednesday, so I am not wearing pink. But my hair is at least tidy, which was all my ambition. Get in, losers.

I have never had page limit rather than a word limit and it is strange having the realisation that this word which is normally useful because it stops me having to use several words is not as relevant because it is a page limit...

Also how small can I make the font....

Even if there was a case for considering Ai as conscious (if we were in more of scifi setting), I think that the Vatican would be very cautious to say so. Because how is consciousness being defined? Also that is not quite the language that they would prefer to use, which would be personhood

So I am reading about the differences between the drugs used in assisted dying and lethal injections, and while I am against the death penalty and assisted dying, I can't help but wonder if there are doctors who are willing to do both. Medical institutions prevents doctors from assisting the

I was doing the thing of looking at the comments by rightwing news outlet's post about EU AI regulation and I have been haunted by the comment which said it was because the AI would tell the truth

The theologian in me doesn't even know where to fucking start with this...

Correction: any pre-modern writer who wrote enough for their work to survive to the present day probably had the soul of a shitposter.
Most pre-modern Christian writers would've been world class shitposters.

Ed Sheeran thanked 50,000 attendees at last night's concert for supporting him after he felt "abandoned".

Children in Gaza could explain to him what it feels like to be *really* abandoned!

As I prepare for a class on Nicaea and Chalcedon, I can't help but fear that I should not have put them together for an hour and half class...

I was thinking this morning about U2 and how they highlighted Aung San Suu Kyi's house arrest with a song dedicated to her and on their tour, they got people to wear masks and Amnesty would hand out masks.
The demographics for a U2 concert would be older, but this was a really simple way to
Ed Sheeran has released a statement on Macklemore being removed from his tour for speaking up for Palestine:

“I am not complicit. […] Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have [my own opinions], and it doesn't mean I don't care.”

Looking at my next journal option and the info for authors is not working (it comes up on my phone that this site has disruption) but signing in to see what I can learn and it says max. 8000 words. The last one was a bigger one. So do I submit elsewhere cause I don't want to edit to cut ≈1000 words?
I did get an email from one of the editors encouraging me to submit it elsewhere which given the imprecise reason for rejection was much appreciated
Just got an article rejected and for tautological reasons:
