Last month, the Speaker welcomed two large delegations of US state legislators. The visitors listened to panel discussions involving MLAs and had the opportunity to ask questions. Such visits help to promote the work of the Assembly and to hear the experiences of other legislatures.

A celebration of music and dance was held at Parliament Buildings today as the Speaker marked the road to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026. The event featured performances by Ballynafeigh School of Irish Dancing, Belfast Bands Forum and Ards Comhaltas 🎶
