I’m very been a good boy, @johnmu.com, I haven’t manipulated the SERPS in some time now…

Reward me with some feedback/tips on this APi? Lol 🤣🫣
Hey @johnmu.com I know the job indexing API isn’t a priority given spammers but with nobody getting new APIs approved, do you still recommend adding jobs in XML sitemaps?

can’t help but think xml might be detrimental given the quick in/out function of listings

Which is why the api exists. Right?

HAAAALP @johnmu.com

I really appreciate your last update on my Q about job indexing API and completely get the spam affecting increase requests. (Several data points showing requests not approved for 12+months now)

@johnmu.com are there any known issues with web API indexing (job) quota request form?

For years on various (job boards) I’ve never had an issue with increases

Switched up account/api for SEOJobs and PPCjobs and can’t get out of the 200 max default. Been well over a month since latest request.

I wrote an article for The SEO Community about pricing for SEO professionals. I go through different models of pricing, how to calculate your hourly rate, things to watch out for, and more.

I also got @raquelseo.bsky.social and @nickleroy.com to share their expert points of view.

Old Hat SEO is Finally Dead. The Bar Has Been Risen For The Next Generation.
SEO isn’t a checklist game. What once moved mountains now barely moves the needle. Critical thinking, storytelling, and cross-discipline skills win. Templates don’t.

This is why we can’t measure “success” by standard attribution.
read @nickleroy.com ‘s latest email and couldn’t agree more! “Today’s long tail lives in social feeds. TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Stories drive discovery passively, one scroll at a time.”

i always search on TT and go to Google last when i’m ready to find the address or make a purchase

Should you create "best X" articles to influence LLMs?

The short answer: it's complicated.

There has been some negative takes on this approach as of late, so I wanted to have @nickleroy.com on to respectfully debate when and how it might make sense to do.

Had a great chat with @suzzicks.bsky.social the other week about Google’s 4S framework and how it’s killing long-tail search…on Google.

The long tail isn’t dead, it’s just moved to YouTube, TikTok & podcasts, etc.

This is the topic of this week's #SEOForLunch 👇

The Long Tail Search Has Died. It's All Happening Outside of Google.
SEOs for years relied on "top of funnel" queries to drive brand awareness. Users are evolving and so has how they search for information.
