Spending 20+ hours writing the world lore that isnt even of significance until act 3 before I even continue the actual story.
The world lore is literally just to explain a device that you and the party use in the game, but now explains where all the enemies and main antagonists come from.

Its been about 2 years since I started working on DNR, the opening portion of the script has been re written 3 times so far. I'm still committed to making this game. Still a story about loss and moving on, but its now my love letter to RPGs, the Horror genre, Anime, and music.

So I've been slowly going through YIIK since it was on sale on Steam.
This has been a good study of how not to do combat, remembering that less is more. Also not to use a scaling system for EXP. I just went through healing items fighting a Soul Survivor Y and only got 10 EXP.
I was under level.🙃
