Minecraft Switch 2 upgrade is free for limited time if you own digital Minecraft for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has clarified that if you own the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft digitally then you are entitled to the Nintendo Switch 2 version for free for a limited time. You have until 31st January, 2027 to claim the free upgrade and then presumably it will be a paid affair. If you don't own the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft then pre-orders for the game are available now on the Nintendo eShop. Thanks to SonicGalaxy27 for sending in the news tip!
