I've been working on a new Y.js synchronization server for the past few weeks now.
Today, I've hit a milestone for it, multiple clients synchronizing their documents & cursor updates!
I threw together a demo with blocknote.js.org and it works!

I think what is happening with PNPM is similar to what happened with Redis.
Most people only ever use Redis as a KV cache, and then when they decided to change license, everyone freaked out because they rightly only need 1% of what Redis does.

I'm thinking more & more that the nature of truth is changing. We don't need content being marked as being AI generated, instead we need is a way to prove that content is real.
It is a small difference that will become more & more important with time.

I added a KOSync server to BookHive, which allows synchronizing reading progress across your e-readers.
It's based on my existing: kosync.nickthesick.com
But, I've added OPDS support which means BookHive can store your ebooks and serve them to your e-readers too.

BookHive now syncs with your e-reader.
Upload your ebooks, browse them from KOReader, Crosspoint, or Readest, via OPDS, and your reading progress syncs back into BookHive.

Portainer is a self-hosted docker manager that I use to deploy all of my self hosted services.
I’ve just hooked up its MCP server and it is awesome to have completed the loop on an agent managing all of my self hosted services. It can diagnose issues end to end and redeploy.
