While Trump is destroying the Middle East and our NATO alliance, these folks won't ever let anyone forget that what matters first to everyone is whether they can feed their families, pay their bills, afford health care, provide child care, buy clothing... the stuff we all need.

The President doesn’t care about care, just war. Not affordability for families, just war.

“We can't take care of day care. We're a big country, we have 50 states, all these people, we're fighting wars. It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these things.”

As we watch state budgets roll out all over the country, with cuts to Medicaid due to the Federal cuts from last summer, states are considering massive roll backs. As I told Sara Luterman things could get “apocalyptic”

The “fraud” rhetoric being used by the Trump administration is BS. The language they’re using about families stepping in ignores the realities of 130 million family caregivers ALREADY providing $1.1 trillion in unpaid care—We can’t be fooled this is a #TrumpAffordabilityMeltdown

New Yorkers kept telling me the same thing: they’re thinking of leaving because they can’t afford to raise their kids here. Universal childcare isn’t just a promise — it’s how we make this a city for everyone.

This video is devastating. Imagine dropping your child off at daycare, only to learn that ICE took a beloved caregiver in front of the children minutes after. Imagine going to work to care for beloved children, only to be ripped away from them and your own family by ICE.

Cost of living issues were at the top of voter’s minds… you know what the top cost of living is??? CARE!

This is a mandate for parties to center the care economy and investments in #ChildCare #PaidLeave and #Aging and #Disability care.

Stop blaming moms, stop cutting REAL research and the programs that support autistic people.

BERNIE SANDERS: Yeah. You know why? Because you're cutting $150b for rural hospitals, you're putting $50b back. That's not an infusion. That's a loss of $100b.

Let no member of the @GOP off the hook, they didn’t just cut #Medicaid they decimated it. Rep Lawler, you had the audacity to make promises in front of #Disabled people and their families that you wouldn’t harm them, and your vote did. We won’t forget, and won’t let you lie. Accountability is coming
