Hello everyone, I realise I’ve been quiet here for a few months, I thought I’d be back but then I needed another extended social media break from everything. I’ll probably dip in and out of here as I’ll likely be focusing mainly on instagram for now- hope you’ve all been keeping well 💜

Onto day 12 of better habits. For the first time in years I have a healthy sleeping pattern. Still woke up at 3am the odd day but I’ve been really strict with my sleep hygiene and doing everything I can in my power to maintain this. Feeling better for it 💛

“ ”JOMO” (noun) Joy of Missing Out. Feeling of content with stating in and disconnecting as a form of self care.” Illustration of a woman sitting up propped against a beanbag on a rug, she is wearing comfortable clothes and slippers- she has a content smile, eyes closed with happiness reading a book with a warm cup of tea steaming beside her. She has a small love heart above her head. Behind her there is a table with a small bird also smiling and a miniature book.

For the first time *all year* the past two nights I’ve managed to sleep before 12am, stay asleep (for the most part) and successfully woke up at 8am. Such a simple thing but with chronic illness and painsomnia is such an achievement for me.

People who are new to writing alt text sometimes feel they must describe every detail, and then get overwhelmed by this pressure. Imagine a large crowd at a football game: you are not expected to describe every single person in a crowd in detail. This would be nearly impossible.

Did you know bunnies can hold a grudge for days? Well. Mine does. She missed being away from home from
her favourite bun parent. Now she’s back and snuggling up to them at night she’s back to her usual self… Can’t make this shit up. 😂

So a while ago my friend who happens to be an awesome artist and overall human @gregfreeland.bsky.social drew Bunnelby for me. I think he captured her attitude PERFECTLY! ☺️he also loves bunnies. 🐰 🖤
Illustration of Bunnelby the rabbit in a comic book style By Greg Freeland. She has an irritated/ grumpy/ unamused expression with one of her front paws slightly raised. There is a speech bubble beside her that says “HMPH!” Photograph of Bunnelby the rabbit which Greg’s illustration is based on. She is a grey lionhead breed, she has brown eyes. She is sitting outside in a garden on wood chip. She has an irritated/ grumpy/ unamused expression with one of her front paws slightly raised. We can see her whiskers clearly and her mane looks extra fluffy.
