On Thursday, with hatred twisting his snarling face, Trump lunged at a woman reporter. For a moment, it looked like he was going to physically assault her. “Not you. Not you,” Trump said. Then came the lunge and the monstrous face, “Hey, not you!”

Had a rough time the other day, so I hiked a small trail that ended on top of a butte during sunset. It's always the little things that center me. Let them be your guide.

Kind of awkward when one of the owners on the first night of the NFL season was in the Epstein files and one of the owners in the second game of the NFL season was arrested in a prostitution sting.

What the f-k with these guys?

More cheating by Musk. Of course, it worked last time. Elon’s VoteSafe is an identification data grab and UNSAFE! I can imagine how this works - register as a Democrat and you’re dropped from voter rolls & ICE comes to your door. Vote.org is the legitimate site. Please share widely! #Voices4Victory

I'd even settle for a threshold. If they make more than a certain amount, they have to pay taxes on it. We've got mega pastors out there living in mansions and owning private jets.

Finally had time tonight to listen to Paris Paloma's new album. I'm a bit of a stickler of listening to whole albums so it was great to finally hear the full context of the 2 singles I had heard. Gotta say, it's a strong contender for my favorite releases from this year.

Sad news. 🙁
Global warming is set to cross 1.5°C, pushing climate risks and impacts to increasingly dangerous heights, a new UNEP report warns.

Predicted impacts include extreme weather and threats to human health and economies.

We're sliding into a dystopia and establishment dems are floundering. They just plain forgot that Florida wrote legislation criminalizing democrats and their voters, had the votes to pass it, and didn't pass it for the thrill of intimidation? Like it couldn't be any clearer who is evil.

Saw Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma and wow. Just wow. Feel like this film spoke to my soul as a self-proclaimed sex nerd, I have so much praise to heap onto it for how healthily it handled sex and kinks and shame. Once in a lifetime movie!

I 100% agree with the observation of how the technology works - Google almost certainly regularly pulls GIS data from the GNIS and updates its own maps database, entirely automated.

However the fact that they don’t override this when someone is being obviously ridiculous _is a policy choice_.
re: everyone yelling about Google Maps - Maps just ingests the official data source for each country, which is GNIS in this case, and most other online maps will follow for American users

nobody at Google is making an active decision to go in and change names in Maps directly
[taps the sign]

According to USGS GNIS "Per Secretarial Order 3453, Lake Ontario has been renamed to Lake America. The basemaps for GNIS are in the process of being updated."

So Google (& Apple, OpenStreetMap, & everyone else who ingests GNIS) will start calling it Lake America within a few weeks.
