Come out and learn ways you can talk about MRRC to friends and neighbors. Meet others that are up to date with information and others that are learning.
We have ways you can help from home and in person. We need evervone to come together for these families and all skills.

Last time 2 people driving kindly stopped. They did not know MRRC was a Detention Center or OPEN.
They thought it was just "another prison". This is why we host these vigils.
Many still do not know MRRC is only 34 mins from KCMO.

"There have been significant developments at MRRC over the past few months, most notably the recent sale of the facility announced yesterday! Come join a community conversation to talk about what we know, what we don’t, and ask your questions."

From Andy M., community member yesterday at 1C3 0UT protest: "Some may interpret the video as evidence detainees are being treated well. This may be the exception, because we know many facilities lack proper care. Regardless, if given a chance, exercise is always better than sitting and waiting."

This is what we witnessed outside of the ICE facilitv in Leavenworth. kS. also known as MRRC, during our ICE Out protest. We must continue to show up here, to hold ICE and CoreCivic accountable by showing up for our immigrant neighbors being kept in these concentration camps.

Last week I visited Leavenworth to see the largest ICE detention center in the KC metro. I heard firsthand accounts of alleged due process violations, detainees being unable to self-deport for months, and dehumanizing treatment. America must have both secure borders and a humane immigration system.
