In my defense. New job. (Good) also had to put one of my cats down. Which arguably has been a situation that has existed a lot longer than just when I had to put her down on Saturday. But. I exist.

It’s been 2 months since I posted anything on here because the last two months have been hell. I did end up getting a remote job (good), but two of my cats also got diagnosed with rare aggressive cancers so.

I have done three interviews in the past two weeks for possible promotions. One is a completely remote position and I’m just sitting here being tortured until I know what’s going on. There’s a lot contingent on these promotions. Agh…

Hey can we bring back all those internet safety campaigns we had when I was a millennial teen? It is NOT my job to parent someone else's kids and have to submit my ID to places to sanitize the internet for some puritanical outrage about kids. Parents should be doing this themselves.

The more AI slop gets peddled as the future of art by people who don’t understand art, the kinder I become to my own art as a result. I used to think I had to have super high rendered art to be able to take commissions, but now I’m just like “this is mine. I made this.”

I said this on Twitter but it’s insane to see people who are super anti ai art then crank out content slop posts written by chatgpt. Like… I thought you were anti-ai? It’s so jarring cause like… chatgpt has a very specific way of formatting posts and most of the time people don’t edit the post.

With all these ai “creatives” popping up I just sit here so confused cause it’s like… where’s the joy in learning how to do something? Your brain is gonna atrophy cause now I’m seeing they’re too lazy to even write the prompts. Where did the sense of whimsy and joy of learning something go?? Sheesh.
