This is what happened when i first tried watching the TADC book ad (I was out on a walk, internet kept cutting out and I was also streaming "Pork Soda" by Primus)

It’s like, why even create any story for mass consumption, anymore. You’re just potentially inviting a bored mob to try and destroy your public life.

And this is not me decrying criticism. Art needs criticism to genuinely thrive. But personal attacks on creatives as people keep growing in number.

“Omg I didn’t know she’s a trans woman, I always hear people talk about her using they/them”

people use they/them for trans women they don’t respect

they don’t respect her because she’s trans and told a trans story

they felt tricked into watching something trans

that’s it

“why are TADC fans so toxic towards the creator?”

it’s because she’s trans

it’s because she made their favorite character trans and they’re pissed about it

saying anything else is dishonest
