🇲🇩 A Russian attack struck near the Palanca border checkpoint between #Moldova and Ukraine. A shell ricocheted into a civilian bus, damaging a control booth. One Moldovan border guard was lightly injured, and the checkpoint was closed.
Russia is trying to disrupt international aid to Ukraine. In just a few weeks, it has attacked Ukrainian border crossings 6 times – 4 times on the Moldovan border and twice on the Romanian border. The latest attack on the Moldovan border on Sep 9 killed at least two people.
