We don't bury our iViking hoard away to be found centuries later! Instead, it's all available to scroll through both in app and on our website norsemap.eu.
You could even go to the map section and look through Viking heritage location by location and they may surprise you!🗺

Piece on the way far-right extremists have adapted Norse and Viking symbols in the face of the ban on Nazi symbolism in Germany. With Felix Lummer and Liam Waters. Slightly defanged. Thor Steinar are 100% a neo-Nazi brand.

Sometimes representations of Vikings are one-of-a-kind, like this bespoke 'shieldmaiden' doll, made by Marzia from Corinaldo in Italy. It comes complete with detachable shield and helmet. We absolutely love it!

The project team was privileged to visit the new excavation of the Viking settlement at Woodstown near Waterford at the invite of Neil Jackman, and to see the finds that are already coming to light from this Irish/Norwegian dig. Big ideas for the site, which would be such a boost to the region.

Really cool new runic find from England (surely something for the second edition of my runes book...!)
🆕️ A ring with a runic inscription has been reported to the PAS.

Dr @jaztherunologist.bsky.social told AWLOH: ‘This is an incredibly exciting find for runologists in Britain because it adds to our growing collection of runic inscriptions in the Anglo-Saxon Fuþorc'.

The review in brief: runes are great, so is this book, and it does a good job separating runic fact from runic fiction.
