- Drawing again for the Mini-mall's yearly thing. Fun.
- Writing little blurbs for each day too for the challenge. Nothing amazing, but they're helping to exercise the creative side of the brain again.

The mini-mall is doing their late #AuGHOST2026 again this year for October, and we're using the list provided by the @temporaryaughost.bsky.social folks since the dear ones at the main account had to take the year off. (Hope things are going better for you @therealaughost.bsky.social lovelies )

Feeling briny. Stewing over Doc call yesterday afternoon. The "panel" of doctors debating my aorta condition are doubling down on an issue that's... upsetting to me. I haven't even started the process for the first part they want done, and they're already saying that's not enough.

Have a old trackball ergo that has been acting up. It's a few years old so I figured it was time to replace it (which I did).

Oof. Therapy today destroying the mental construct of a parent versus who they actually are. Tiring but also, somewhat freeing.

Feeling a smidge of the creative spark. Pulled out an in-progress story bible for an old thing, and plopped my XIV character down in game to mimic.
I don't know why but the externalized character helps me focus. It's sort of like the lo-fi girl thing I guess?

And here we are again. Surprised how the test was. Most of the LR tests have been harder than their MR base version, but this was the same.

Early bed tonight. Surgery in the morning, at last. Its been a rough two months, and I see a glimmer of the other side from here. There's more to come in the future (the other kidney and all) but a few weeks of peace will be nice.

All these pills for prolonging my life, and I am coming to detest them. I loath the feeling of scooping them from their plastic prisons. I recoil at the bitter taste when I take the required handful.
But most of all, I hate the smell of them; Chalky, dusty, nerve numbing.

That hsopital life. So, got back into the hospital again. ER visit Monday morning after chills and high fever (103.5). Developed pneumonia, yay. My surgery was cancelled, so still have the stint in, and the associate pain.
And yeah, still in the room today. Fever broke, chills are gone.
